(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The Secretary General of the Islamic Awakening Assembly, Ali Akbar Velayati, has said that the Egyptian administration should swiftly prosecute the perpetrators behind the martyrdom of Shiite Egyptian Ulema and make the necessary arrangements to prevent the repetition of such heinous crimes.
According to IRIB World Service, Velayati forwarded a condolence message on the martyrdom of the Egyptian Shiite Islamic Scholar, Sheikh Mohammad Hassan Shehateh, and a number of Muslims in this country.
Velayati pointed out that such hostile measures aim to drive a wedge among Islamic denominations, and are designed and plotted by the Global Arrogance led by the US and global Zionism, proving the enemies' fear of unity of Muslims and the spread of the wave of Islamic awakening in the region and across the world.
